Monthly price is the rate the carrier quoted for your chosen coverage amount, term and health bracket, calculated on a monthly basis. Rate class indicates the underwriting category the quote is based on; the carrier finalizes the actual category after underwriting. Exam shows whether the carrier typically orders a medical exam, usually orders one, or does not typically require one. A.M. Best is the financial strength assessment of the carrier.
